I think Adams is the biggest player of anti-party in APC. The man has simply destroyed the party to a great extent.
Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state has frown at his suspension from the All Progressive Congress (APC) by the party chairman Adams Oshiomhole. He said Oshiomhole is plotting to destroy the APC in the South-East.
The Governor said, “I just heard from media reports that I have been suspended from the party (APC). I think Adams is seeking for relevance and attention. He doesn’t have such powers to remove somebody without following due process.
“I think Adams is the biggest player of anti-party in APC. The man has simply destroyed the party to a great extent.
“The candidate that Oshiohmhole imposed on the party in Imo State lost his votes for the Presidential election and all the members of the coalition in Imo State worked for PDP”.
APC Chieftain Cletus Obun also describe Oshiomhole as a Political Fumigant of his generation. Obun said the suspension of Governor Amosun and Rochas was not necessary based on the achievement of the party.
Obun said, “Those who are crying foul about the suspension should rather bother about whether the party can win elections on account of what has happened.
“Our legal system has made it very clear that the party supremacy can’t be undermined”.
Was he going to rule Nigeria against our wish? Citizens must hold their leaders accountable to their policy choices.
The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole has said former vice president, Atiku Abubakar was never destined to rule Nigeria.
He said this at a press conference while reacting to the Peoples Democratic Party candidate’s rejection of the election result.
“It borders on arrogance that our future is tied on his presidency. Atiku is destined never to be president of Nigeria.
“Leadership is about character. Atiku’s desperation is so obvious, so desperate that in 2003, he challenged his own boss, President Olusegun Obasanjo, not to do a second term.
“Was he going to rule Nigeria against our wish? Citizens must hold their leaders accountable to their policy choices. Even when he said even if he if he will die he will sell NNPC many believed that he has collected deposit,” Oshiomhole said.
Mr Abubakar’s fourth attempt to clinch the presidency was dashed in the just concluded presidential election when the incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari was announced as winner.
He has said he will not accept the result of the election because the process was not fair and is seeking legal redress in court.
Mr Oshiomhole said Saturday’s election “was a referendum between ‘integrity’ and ‘no integrity’ and Nigerians have made their choice”.
