The expects the South-Eastern region to vote more because they have Peter Obi as the Vice president candidate.
Chief Fani-Kayode has slammed the Igbos for not voting for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Alhaji Abubakar Atiku in the just concluded presidential election. He said, he expects the South-Eastern region to vote more because they have Peter Obi as the Vice president candidate, but the South-West (Yoruba) voted more for the PDP candidate.
According to him, “In the 2019 presidential election South-East gave Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi 1.67 million votes whilst the South-West gave the same Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi’s ticket a whooping 1. 75million votes, notwithstanding that the geo- political region had no direct stake in that ticket”.
