A leading financial institution is seeking to recruit for the position of a FILE OFFICER. The ideal candidate would be responsible for organizing paperwork according to an efficient filing system and also be expected to protect and update files as well as make them easily accessible to your colleagues.

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Responsibilities:

-Sort all papers alphabetically and according to content, dates, significance etc.

-Create or update records with new files and information

-Develop an efficient filing system to make updating and retrieving files easier

-Follow policies and confidentiality dictations to safeguard data and information

-Check incoming paperwork (correspondence, invoices etc.) and make copies before distributing

Minimum Qualification:

-Should possess an OND/HND/BSC

-At least 1-year experience in the same role.

-For HND, candidate must have completed NYSC program or should have exemption certificate.

-Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel

-Age must not be above 28years.

-Preferable candidates with IT background will be an added advantage.

-Preferably a male candidate

Job Summary:

Successful candidates will be responsible for the effective and efficient administration of the secretarial and Legal department, provide legal advisory services support and ensuring effective management of legal and contractual risks.

Job Responsibility

-Render returns at CAC, SUBMIT forms and other statutory notices to CAC for filing and obtain CTC

-Provide assistance in preparing, drafting and getting all agreements

-Proper documentation/ record keeping of all matters

-Demonstrate ability to recover outstanding debts

-Collating legal reports, documents/ correspondence on litigation

-Incorporation of companies and filing of annual returns and other statutory documents

-Rendering Secretarial services to clients
